Borussia Dortmund sets their eyes on top prospects to replace Mario Gotze who is all set to join their Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich who clinched the championship in record time with 6 games left. The German football star is set to leave his former allies and join their arch nemesis for a fee of € 37 million when the 1st of July dawns. The name who comes in to Borussia Dortmund’s plans in terms of replacement is Dutch Eredivisie’s Christian Eriksen who is currently with Ajax. Over at the English Premier League, Arsenal is seeking revenge against Manchester United for forcing them to sell Robin van Persie who they watched as he scored 25 goals overall throughout the season and eventually helping Man U to seal the title. It is still fresh in the minds of Arsenal what transpired last August when the recently crowned champs stole Robin Van Persie from them. Now the Gunners look to return the favor by grabbing one of their top players Wayne Rooney and having the Englishman play on their side for a € 25 million fee. However, they would still have to battle against Chelsea who is reportedly offering the same amount for the 27 year old.
Serie A club Juventus is on the pursuit for Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain. According to reports, Juventus currently does not want to go beyond € 22 million for the Argentine’s contract. But in order for them to get Higuain, they must be able to fulfill Real Madrid’s asking fee of € 30 million.
After winning the title against Lyon, and clinching their first Ligue 1 title since 1994, Paris Saint-Germain’s winning ways might convince Zlatan Ibrahimovic to stay with the club. The Sweden native says that he wants to stay at PSG even though he had been recently courted by several clubs like Manchester City and Juventus for a fee of € 21 million.
