Injuries prove too costly as the transfer window draws near

As the German giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund lock in their spot in the Champions League final, it is evident that the Spanish clubs have been riddled by crucial injuries.

Injured players like Javier Mascherano and Lionel Messi have had their fair share of setbacks due to their own unfortunate injury. Although Messi played the first match, he was not 100% fit. For the Bayern Munich – Barcelona matchup, Lionel Messi appeared that he had been held back by the hamstring injury he acquired early April which contributed to Barcalona’s disappointing 7-0 loss over two matches to the German giants.

As the end of the season comes even nearer for most of the European leagues, expect the Spanish clubs and as well as the rest of the clubs all over the world to pursue the best fit soccer players across the globe to rebuild their foundation during the course of the open transfer window.

On the bright side, Barcelona is looking close to win the battle against Chelsea to get Radamal Falcao from Atletico Madrid. That is why Atletico Madrid is already pursuing Liverpool’s Luis Suarez according to several transfer rumours. The Uruguayan star is currently serving a 10 match suspension for biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic whom reports say has accepted Suarez’s apology for the biting incident.
