Fresh Transfers from the Turkish Super Lig

The Turkish Super Lig has been the busiest league so far when it comes to the on-going transfer window. There is quite a number of clubs who have already made their necessary transfers to improve their teams, this goes especially for clubs among the middle of the table. Here are some of the latest developments in the transfer window for the Turkish League.

Ahmet Sahbaz has signed with Sivasspor
Sivasspor has recruited the young defender Ahmet Sahbaz from TTF Third League club Silivrispor. The 23-year old Sahbaz has recently passed the medical test and has signed a three and a half year contract with Sivasspor. The young defender is a great addition to the backline of Sivasspor where hopefully he could develop into a top center back.

Karabukspor recruited Brazilian striker Carioca Jones
Karabukspor has strengthened their attack by getting Carioca Jones from Brazilian club Deportivo Maldonado. Jones has signed a one and a half year contract with the club and they are looking to use him either as a wing or a center. After being loaned to numerous clubs, Jones is now in a club where he is truly needed and where he can show his playmaking skills.

Another recruit for MP Antalyaspor, center back Remzi Giray Kacar
MP Antalyaspor is very busy getting players in the on-going transfer window. Their latest signing is Remzi Giray Kacar from club Trabzonspor. This is a good addition for the club as they need their defense to become more solid, if they don’t want to be among the teams that might be relegated. The contract that Giray Kacar has signed will run for two and a half years.

Martin Mutumba is now officialy a part of Rizespor
The Swedish born Ugandan Martin Mutumba has now parted ways with his old club AIK and is now with his new club Rizespor. According to the club’s website, Mutumba has signed a two and a half year deal with Rizespor. Mutumba is looking to give that boost to the newly promoted club and will join the Nigerian duo of striker Uche Kalu, and defender Godfrey Oboabona.

Cenk Ahmet Alkilic has been loaned to Erciyesspor
Rizespor loaned midfielder Cenk Ahmet Alkilic to Erciyesspor, even though Erciyesspor is at the bottom of the table. The club stated that the loan was clear for both parties and that it was Alkilic that wanted the move to happen. It’s still not clear what Cenk Alkilic’s intentions for the move are, but what is clear is that he has found a new home until the end of the season.
