Christian Eriksen to Tottenham
The Danish super star who was definitely a big part of Ajax’s championship run last season, is now officially with Tottenham. After playing 4 Eredivisie matches this 2013/14 season, he will now bring his talents to England and play in the English Premier League. The 21 year old was transferred for a price of € 13.5 million to play for the Spurs.
James McCarthy to Everton
Former Wigan midfielder will now play for their Premier League rivals of Everton after being transferred during the latest transfer window. The price of the transfer was € 15.3 million for McCarthy and he will be joined by his former Wigan teammate Romelu Lukaku who has also moved to Everton on a loan.
Geoffrey Kondogbia to Monaco
Kondogbia will be going to Ligue 1 club Monaco for a transfer fee of € 20 million, as big spending Monaco continue to bring in more talent to their club. The former Sevilla midfielder was in the starting lineup 23 of the 33 times that he played in the Primera Division last season.
Mamadou Sakho to Liverpool
The former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has been transferred from the French league to the English Premier League for a € 17 million transfer fee. Liverpool have been looking for a new center back to back up Daniel Agger, and Sakho has been chosen for the job, and it is expected that he will play more minutes than he did with PSG.
Mesut Ozil to Arsenal
In a blockbuster transfer, Arsenal was able to obtain for a £ 40 million price tag. Ozil has now elevated Arsenal into contending for a title again this season after playing for Real Madrid for quite some time. His teammates in Real Madrid has bid goodbye to a good friend and teammate and Ozil has thanked all of them for his time in Spain.

Despite Ozil leaving for Arsenal, Real Madrid was still able to make headlines by sealing a transfer for a very hot prospect this past transfer window, none other than Gareth Bale. Bale who has spent most of his career with the Spurs will now team up with Cristiano Ronaldo and pursue nothing less than a title this season. The Gareth Bale transfer of € 100 million has set a world-record and it was a big relief to Real Madrid when it has been made official.
