Once again teams are looking to do all they can to get some notable reinforcements in the ongoing transfer window. As teams continuously bid for their targeted players, there is no certainty on which of the current transfer rumours will push through, until there’s an official announcement. Let’s take a look at the latest developments in the ongoing rumours in Italy’s Serie A.
SSC Napoli is looking to sign Verona star Jorginho
There are rumours that Napoli is now ready to break the bank in the transfer window and that they are now close to signing two players. One of those players is the Brazilian born midfielder, Jorginho. It is said that when the football club Azzuri went on an away trip to Verona’s stadium, they took advantage of it and went on to discuss business and it is likely that they would have agreed on a deal.
Inter Milan is now ahead in the race to sign Anderson Hernanes
The Brazilian has been one of the top performers in Serie A, which has made overseas teams like Arsenal, Tottenham, and PSG interested in the player. But it seems that Hernanes will not leave Italy and will only move out of Rome and into Milano. It is said that Inter have supposedly agreed on a four-year contract with Hernanes but hasn’t finalized a deal yet with Lazio.
Juventus set eyes on Frankfurt youngster
League club leader Juventus is looking to get Eintracht Frankfurt defender Marc-Oliver Kempf. The sporting director of Frankfurt, Bruno Habner, has confirmed that the Bianconeri is interested in making a loan deal for the young defender. According to Kicker.de, the Bundesliga club is asking for a fee of € 500,000 to sign the youngster on loan to the Serie A club with the option of buying him permanently at the end of the season.
Chelsea star might make a move to AC Milan
Chelsea midfielder Micheal Essien is looking to make a move after having a hard time getting minutes at the Stamford Bridge, and AC Milan is looking to make a loan deal for the player. Essien’s manager has stated at the end of 2013 that he was flooded with inquiries about the midfielder and said “It’s true that he could leave Chelsea this winter.” He also added “Several big European clubs playing in the Champions League have made enquiries and it should play out in the next 10 days or so. Michael wasn’t included in Chelsea’s list of players for European competition, so he’s free to play in the Champions League with another club.”
