Big Names Linked to a Summer Move

It has just been a few days since the winter transfer window had closed, and as early as now, rumours are already linking big names to a summer move. We still have to wait for a couple of months until official announcements can begin, but what’s interesting is to see how the rumours would develop within the coming months. Let’s see which names are already linked for a summer move in the top leagues of Europe.

Arsenal targeting Italian forward
According to reports in Italy, Mario Balotelli is being heavily linked with a move back to the Premiere League. The club that looks to acquire the services of the striker is the London based club, Arsenal. Reports have also stated that Puma, being tied up with Arsenal, would help to finance the deal since Baletolli has recently joined the brand. Manager Arsene Wenger has been looking to bring in a forward since the winter break and it seems Balotelli is whom they seek to obtain.

Barcelona linked with a replacement for veteran Xavi
Barcelona’s superstar midfielder Xavi Hernandez is evidently coming to a close at his career as he recently turned 34 years old. It is looking that Barcelona has found a possible replacement with the likes of Manchester City midfielder, David Silva. Reports have said that Silva would be the long-term replacement for Xavi and the Catalan side is looking to go all out to lure Silva back to Spain.

Top clubs in the Premiere League eyeing for Toni Kroos
According to Daily Mail, talks of a contract extension involving Toni Kroos and Bayern Munich is not in good terms, as Kroos is looking to double his earnings from £60,000 a week to around £150,000, which Bayern is not looking to agree with. This opened the door for Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool to scope out the player. It seems that United is the first one to act upon the situation, with Manager David Moyes, who personally went to Germany to see a game of Bayern with Kroos’ agent.

Manchester United wants two German transfers
Besides Toni Kroos, David Moyes is also looking to make a swoop for another Bayern star. Thomas Muller is also a part of the wish list of Moyes this summer, who is looking to strengthen his side and make up for a disastrous season. Daily Express has reported that United is going to renew a deal with Nike that would amount to a Billion Dollars and is looking to use it to fund the possible transfer of Kroos and Muller in the summer.

It’s exciting to see if these transfers would materialize in the upcoming months as it would surely shake up the football world.
